Dubbeloo house is located in a former 1960’s diamond cutting workshop which we converted in two functions; one has remained as atelier and the other has become our family home.
Build on the same footprint as where a part of the old building was, we chose an all-wood CLT structure exposed on the interior and a red steel corrugated skin on the exterior.
For this project we worked together with objektarchitecten.be and arwobouw.be.
The house also features a central enclosed garden where there used to be an empty asphalt courtyard. We teamed up with the guys from debeerendevos.be to create this serene piece of nature.
